Great excavations

The result of an invited competition, 3, 4 & 5 Murray Rose Avenue are the first completed of five buildings. The facades of the commercial buildings are a curtain wall system of glass and terracotta panels. The colors were chosen to reflect those found in the sedimentary layers of the adjacent excavation, a brick pit from the site’s industrial past. This is complemented with Corten steel, bluestone and granite. The buildings each achieve a 6-star Green Star rating.
